It's doubtful that Kwik-Way will go "out of business".  They are going through financial trouble right now, but they have far too many orders for product for the business to disappear.  They may get bought out or they may figure a way out of debt, but highly unlikely that they will just simply close the doors.

On the day you called the company was in receivership.  Basically means a 3rd party was placed onsite to manage the funds.  That 3rd party decided to close the factory and later to send all but a select few home while they tried to determine the best course of action.  Their only concern was to not create any additional debt.  That was likely the rock bottom and over the next week or two things will start flowing again.

I'm sure there will be some changes in management as well and maybe some policy changes as they try to stop the bleeding.

Well, it's been 20 Months since the question in the subject line was first posed.  And I'm happy to report that Kwik-Way is in fact still in business.  During that 20 month period of time they went through Chapter 11 and came out of it.  So they are now well on their way to recovery.  Many very good people were lost along the way.  It's great that they are able to continue to maintain this place where we can all gather to talk shop.

It's not very helpful that the economy in general is being so very sluggish.  I'm sure everyone is feeling the pinch these days.  Hopefully we can all hold on long enough to see the wheel of life roll around to better days again.  Let's all do our part to help each other out and keep the life blood of the Auto Repair and Rebuilding Industry flowing.

My Sincere Best Wishes to Everyone for the coming New Year!
