i have a kwik way ft older boring bar i have used for over 25 years and it will not fast up after boring a hole some times it will and i took it apart some but is there a clutch or is the post that pushes down keyed has anybody ever fixed the fast up???

I just bought a FT, I have completely  torn it apart. I am not completely sure what does what but I will soon! Can you post some pictures of inside your gear cover?

I got my model FT reassembled, guess what my rapid up did not work! Mine just required adjustment. The rod that engages off the feed lever needed to be adjusted down to fully engage. Also the stop screw to kick out the rapid up had to be adjusted.
